Experienced, caring staff
Our experienced, dedicated team of care staff construct individual care plans for each resident, created in collaboration with the resident, their family members, staff and medical professionals. A physiotherapy service is available and our nurses work closely with local General Practioners to ensure each resident’s medical and emotional needs are met. Residents at Ballinamore House Nursing Home are also assigned a Keyworker – a member of staff who is linked to them to fulfill any small but important non-nursing needs.
Staff development
Our staff are wholeheartedly committed to upskilling and our mandatory in-house training program ensures residents benefit from the latest industry learnings and expertise. Our training includes a focus on dementia, elderly care, CPR and elder abuse. Our talented chef has also undertaken a catering course while our activity coordinator is scheduled to undertake training to become a Sonas Licensed Practitioner.
Residents, & next-of-kin forums
We support our residents to meet monthly to discuss their ideas, concerns or suggestions, and we coordinate next-of-kin forums every quarter to provide updates on the Resident Forum. We always welcome suggestions and feedback and ensure the two groups meet together every six months for further discussion.
